Question:
Good day, I have two trailer axles that Dexter might have made them. Dexter hubs have this on them. 8-249-05 5-5.50 BC The axles measure 75 spring centers and 82 to the back of the brake flanges. Im looking to replace both axles with complete axles. Thank you Charley

The hub you have is the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 84557UC3, which is for 3,500 lb axles. The closest option we have to the measurements you mentioned is a 3,500 lb axle that is 74 inches from spring center to spring center, 82-5/8 inches from brake flange to brake flange, and 89 inches from hub face to hub face.
This axle - which your hub does fit - is available with either standard or EZ Lube spindles:
- Standard Spindle: Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with Standard Spindles - 89" Long - 3,500 lbs # T3584F-8974
- EZ Lube Spindle: Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with EZ-Lube Spindles - 89" Long - 3,500 lbs # T3584F-EZ-8974
Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with Standard Spindles - 89" Long - 3,500 lbs
Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with EZ-Lube Spindles - 89" Long - 3,500 lbs
Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3,500-lb Axles - 10" Diameter - 5 on 5-1/2
