Question:
I read one of your answers to this given by Connor L. In it he says you need to use a Thule bar cross bar. Gobi offers a 80” cross bar, pricey wouldn’t that be long enough to use the hullavator? I’m looking to use 2 hullavators on my Gobi stealth. Thanks

So long as the 80 inch crossbars are spread a minimum of 24 inches apart, and extend between 4 inches and 8 inches past the feet/clamps of your Gobi, then yes, you can fit a pair of Hullavators on them. The correct part number for the Hullavator is the following:
- Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier and Lift Assist with Tie-Downs # TH898
The Hullavator # TH898 uses 28-1/2 inches of crossbar space, which is why a pair of them will fit on 80 inch crossbars, and from what I found, the Gobi 80 inch crossbar is a round bar, which the Hullavator is compatible with. So as long as you meet the requirements I mentioned above in regard to the crossbar spread and how far they extend past the feet, you're all set.
The only other thing I wanted to mention is if you'd like to lock the Hullavator to your crossbars, you can do so by adding the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450200.
