Is there measurement for the machined portion of the spindle? Or is this a direct replacement for dexter 7k axel

The #42 E-Z Lube 4" Drop Spindle w/ Flange for 5.2K to 7K Trailer Axles # TRU39FR is the same size as that used on the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with 4" Drop E-Z Lube Spindles # 8327860. Both will fit the same Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 42866UC3-EZ. It is important to have the replacement spindle welded by a professional in a jig to ensure it is straight and true.
