Replacement Idler Hub For A 2,000 Pound Dexter Trailer Axle

What idler hub and bearing kit to I buy for a 2,000 lb. Standard Spring Dexter® Trailer Axle

Expert Reply:

There are two different options of idler hubs that we have available for a 2,000 pound axle. You will have to first let us know what your bolt pattern is which I will link a link below to help you find out what your pattern is. Next we will need to know what your inner and outer bearing numbers are on your current hubs. I will link that below as well.

The two bolt patterns that we have are the 5 on 4-1/2 and the 4 on 4. The two options for outer bearings would be # L44643 and # L44649. There are two options on the inner bearing, # L44649 and # L68149.

The Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # 8-258-50BTUC1 has a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern and the inner bearing is # L44643 and the outer bearing is # L44643.

When you find out your bolt pattern and your inner and outer bearing numbers please reach back out to me and I will get the correct one for you.

I attached a few links below.
