Can Roadmaster 4 Diode Tow Bar Lighting Kit Install on Vehicle with Separate Turn Signals
Question:
I need to wire my 1994 Jeep Wrangler YJ, which has separate amber turn signals on the rear European taillights to be flat towed on my 2020 Ram 1500 Rebel 5th gen. I was looking at the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - 7-Wire to 6-Wire Straight Cord Item # RM-152-98146-7, and wanted to know if this kit will give me separate amber turn signals and red brakes lights on the rear of the jeep while towing. Also will this light the parking lights of the YJ while towing @ night? or just the tail lights? Thanks for the help,

The Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-152-98146-7 can work on your 1994 Jeep Wrangler that has separate turn signals from stop lights. It will wire to your Wrangler in a way that operates the stoplights just like a vehicle with combined taillights. So now your stop lights have two brightnesses (not really a word), lower illumination for stoplights and brighter for stoplights. With this kit installed it will allow the running lights to be on when the headlights are on like normal but when the blinkers are used they will flash instead of the amber lights of the vehicle flashing.
