Trailer Wiring Harness For A 2021 Hyundai Palisade

2021 Hyundai Palisade recall on oem and dealer installed cable fires at control box for hitch. I do not know if I should order cable. At this time all they are doing is pulling fuse. Do you have any information on this

We do not currently have any information on the recall of OEM and dealer installed trailer wiring causing fires at the control box on your 2021 Hyundai Palisade.

I would recommend getting a stronger grade trailer wiring harness like The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118784. This harness is constructed of 16-gauge bonded wire.

This harness will plug into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side trim panel in the rear cargo area. Once the installation is complete The Mounting Bracket # 18144 is recommended to keep the connector secure.
