Is The Curt Echo Under-Dash Compatible With a 2009 Toyota Tacoma?
Question:
Why does the website state this product will not work/fit with a 2009 Toyota Tacoma? I have cross-referenced this product on Curts website and it states it will work, universal fit. I know I will need the adapter wiring harness to plug into the factory wiring panel. Can someone please confirm or deny whether or not this product will work. Thank you!

Yes, you will be able to use the Curt Echo Under-Dash Wireless Brake Controller # C27JR on your 2009 Toyota Tacoma. The Curt Custom Wiring Adapter # C51362 will connect to the factory connector if your Tacoma has the factory tow package. Otherwise you will need to Universal Adapter # C51515 if you are adding a 7-Way # ETBC7.
