How To Find 5th Wheel Towing Capacity of 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500

I just purchased a Chevy 2500HD truck. What weight of a 5th wheel camper can I pull? Im not sure what the dry weight should be and the loaded weight.

The towing capacity of a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 will be listed in the owner's manual under the towing section. There are several factors that go into this such as cab type, bed length, drive type, engine size etc. so I cannot provide an exact number. That said, you will be able to find this number yourself with a bit of research and knowledge of your truck.
In order to pull a fifth wheel trailer you will need a new hitch setup. It's hard to bet against the B&W Companion with its thick dual locking jaws for a comfortable ride, cam-action handle for uncoupling on uneven terrain, and two piece design to save your back moving it in and out of the truck bed. The correct one for you will come down to whether or not you have the prep package also know as the puck system. If you do then all you'll need is the part # BWRVK3715 but if not you'll need the part # BWRVK3500 and part # BWGNRK1020.
