Do RV Roof Vents with Rain Sensors Draw Power All the Time
Question:
I am looking for a fan that does not draw any current when the fan is not operating. I assume that all remote operated fans and fans with rain sensors have phantom power draw? am I correct?

RV roof vents like the Replacement MaxxFan Plus 4-Speed Roof Vent with White Lid # MA00-04751KSX that you referenced do not draw power when they are off and the rain switch is active. Basically the rain sensor is a switch and when water on the sensor completes the circuit the switch activates and then the lid closes. It's no different from how when a light is switched off and there is current present at the switch there isn't parasitic amperage draw. So with this light setup you would not have to worry about it draining your battery.
