Will Grease Seal RG06-070 Replace the Dexter Seal K71-386-00

Youve mentioned that the RG06-070 is a suitable replacement for the Dexter K71-386-00, but I dont think that they are. The Dexter p/n is for a liquid filled axle and the one you suggest is for grease.

Correct, although the TruRyde Seal part # RG06-070 has the same dimensions as the Dexter Seal part K71-386-00, the TruRyde is for grease and the Dexter is for oil. The Dexter Seal part K71-386-00 cross-references to our Unitized Oil Seal for Trailer Hubs part # 10-63.

For a Dexter 7k axle the correct grease seal is the part #RG06-070. LMX Red grease is the highest quality grease rated for wheel bearing use. I would recommend going with that. For that you would want part #L11390.

National seal 472920 has an inner diameter of 2.25 inches and outer diameter of 3.375. For a replacement, you will want Grease Seal - Double Lip #GS-2250DL or oil seal #10-63.

Yes, the Dexter hub part #8-287-14UC1 can have grease used in it instead of oil. The only difference is the seal which an oil seal works just fine with grease.

Your National seal 413470 has an outer diameter of 3.376 inches and an inner diameter of 2.125 inches. For a replacement we have #GS-2125DL for one seal or #RG06-090 for a pair. These are all double lip seals.
