I’m wondering if under conditions where there is vibration or shock in the load or to the winch such as if used on a trailer, will the break slip?

No, with any vibrations or shock in the load when using The Pro Series Standard Brake Winch # PSKR15000301 will not cause the break to slip.
The winch has a first layer capacity of 1,500 pounds and has a full drum capacity of 700 pounds. It has a minimum line load of 50 pounds. The winch has a zinc finish that provides a corrosion resistance.
