Check Components Error Message On Lippert Ground Control 3.0

Question:

I can Auto Level my 5th wheel successfully, but after I get the SUCCESSinch notification the display shows a check componentsinch message. I have to acknowledge by pressing ENTER before I can turn the panel off. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!!

In order to find out what your exact problem is you will have to get a multi-meter. With it you need to use the ground probe (black handle) and place on the green wire coming from the back of the control panel and then use the power probe (red handle) and place that on the black wire coming from the back of the control panel. It would need to read 12 volts. If it does not read 12 volts make sure the batteries on the trailer are fully charged.

If you do get 12 volts you will then need to check out the communication signal. While using the ground probe place on the yellow wire and place the power probe on the red wire. It should read out to be 5-7 volts. If you do then you will need to replace the control panel. If you do not then most likely the control board will need replaced.
