While we don't have a Blue Ox tow bar wiring kit that fits your 2017 Chevy Colorado we have had the chance to install the Roadmaster Diode Kit part # RM-152-98146-7 on a similar 2019 Colorado and found that it installed easy and worked really well. I attached an install video that shows this kit installed on a similar Colorado.
