Can I Use an Adapter w/ the Kuat Pivot Swing Away?

Wondering if a 2” or greater rise adapter would effect strength or stability of kuat swing away arm with 2 bike rack. Kuat drivers side swing away- im worried about dragging bottom going up hill or into parking lots, d

The swing away adapters like the Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender item # PVD20B can not be used with other adapters like a 2" or greater rise.
The farthest edge of the carrier when folded is 14-1/8" so you will just need to be mindful of that when going up or down a steep grade.
