Hubs & Brake Kit Required For Timbren 3,500LB Axle-Less Trailer Suspension For 5 on 5" Bolt Pattern
Question:
Looking for brake hubs for the timbren ASR35HDS05 with a 5 on 5 bolt pattern.
asked by: Edmund A
Expert Reply:
The Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR35HDS05 you are looking at increases the spindle size to the larger #42 spindle. This will require a larger Hub Assembly # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K and the smallest bolt pattern offered in that size is a 6 on 5-1/2". If you go this route you will need 2 of the above hubs with the Brake Kit # AKEBRK-7-SA.
To go with 5 on 5" hubs you will need to get the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System # ASR3500S06 which uses the #84 spindle that is commonly found on 3,500lb axles. This will allow you to use 2 of the Hub Assemblies # AKHD-550-35-EZ-K with the Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA to give you the 5 on 5" bolt pattern you are wanting.
