Trailer Hitch Option For 2004 Mitsubishi Mini Truck

Question:

I am looking for 1.25 receiver hitch for my 2004 Mitsubishi mini truck. Frame mounting is 38.5 center to center. only needs to be 3-4 inch but can fab if I get the correct width for frame mounting points. Anything that would work.

There is an option you can use with a universal hitch, but none have a 1-1/4" receiver. What you can do is use a hitch reducer adapter, but the only option is indeed a 2" hitch. What you can use is the following:

- Multi-Fit Motorhome Trailer Hitch # 5350

The # 5350 is titled "motorhome" because that's what people use it for most often, but it's just a universal hitch. It will fit frames that are 24" to 46" wide, so it's going to be perfect for your 38-1/2" frame width.

Then if you need the reducer go with the Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver # HT02.
