Recommended Cost-Effective 5th Wheel Hitch for a 2003 Dodge Ram
Question:
I bought a 2006 keystone everest. Dont have a clue what hitch to buy for my 2003 dodge Cummings diseal. $ tight and wont be pulling it very much. So cheaper the better as long as it wont get away from me.

For your application I recommend using the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails # BWRVK2600 which gives you a way to install your 5th wheel hitch in your 2003 Dodge Ram pickup.
Then for the actual hitch I recommend the B&W Patriot # BWRVK3270 sliding hitch if you have a short bed but then you can use the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16115 if you have a long bed.
The sliding feature on the Patriot ensures your 5th wheel doesn't hit your cab when making tight turns but the E16 is a very basic 5th wheel hitch that won't be a comfortable a towing experience as the Patriot but it will get the job done.
One other thing to keep in mind as a future upgrade is an in-bed 7-Way like part # HM42137. This makes it easier to connect the wiring from your trailer to your truck.
