5TH Wheel Hitch Options For a 2022 Nissan Titan SV with 5-1/2' Bed
Question:
Hi, Im trying to find the right product needed for my 2022 Nissan titan SV with a 57 bed. It came with the towing package and has factory installed bedrails so im wondering exactly what I will need to purchase? We will be pulling a 29 ft cougar 25res 5th wheel. The Pin box is a Lippert 1621. We are considering a Reese Sidewinder. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am a first time 5th wheel tower. Thanks so much!

The 5th Airborne Premium 5th Wheel Air Ride King Pin w/ Sidewinder # RP61422 is a great option for pulling with a short bed truck like your 2022 Nissan Titan SV. You will need a Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16120 and Wedge # C16992. This hitch will drop into above bed 5th wheel Rails # C16470-204 which it sounds like you had installed in your Titan.
Another option to consider is the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550040. This will be a better option if you see yourself pulling different 5th wheels. It does not require a different pin box be used on your trailer. As you turn the hitch slides to the rear up to 22-1/2" to gain the additional clearance needed for turning.
