Solution for Reese Goose Box Fifth Wheel Gooseneck Adapter that Leaks

Question:

I had the Reese Goosebox 20k installed by a dealer upon delivery of my Montana 3763BP September 2022. TV is 2020 Ram 3500 Diesel. The dealer set everything up while we worked with financing etc…we drove it home 500 miles and unhitched/ parked. When I rehitched, I tried to add air but the air whistles out of the little hole which I assume is the relief. Air also leaves this area when I pushed in to empty. So when I add air, it whistles and the indicator does not move. I have never been able to add air I assume the dealer did since air came out when I pressed the valve. I had Reese send me the owners manual and followed the recommended steps for adding air. Still just whistles.

Sounds like the Goosebox has a leak somewhere which is why it's relieving all pressure. Normally we'd recommend the Air System Service Kit for Reese Goose Box 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP86007 but since the dealer set you up like this I would take it back to them to have them find and fix the leak.
