5,200LB Trailer Axles For a Tandem Axle Car Hauler 80" Spring Center and 95" Hub Face
Question:
I have a car trailer, double axle straight 80 in between springs centers 95 in overall length would like 5,000 lb axles with electric brakes on one. spindles on the other.

Expert Reply:
You will need the Dexter Trailer Axle # 6340624 and the Dexter Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes # 6340624-EB. These are 5,200lb axles with the one having a plain spindle and the other outfitted with electric drum brakes and a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern.
Do be sure to verify the local laws in your area for trailer brakes as most now require both axles to be braking axles on trailers over a certain weight. Otherwise we do offer the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # 8-213-5UC1-EZ which you will need 2 of for the spindle axle.
