Question:
Trying to install an electronic brake control in my 2019 Jeep Cherokee Limited. Locating a place to pass wires through the firewall is a challenge but I think Ill be victorious in that area. But locating a wire to tap into for the brake switch cold side is just hard. Any help would be great.

Locating the cold side of the stop light switch on your 2019 Jeep Cherokee can definitely be difficult, assuming you can even access it. You can use a circuit tester like the # PTW2993 to find which wire only has power when the brake pedal is pressed and splice into it for installation.
Alternatively, you can install the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751471. This is often the solution when the factory wire is difficult to find or inaccessible. Once installed, you can finish your brake controller installation by connecting it to this switch kit like you would the factory wire.
