Hello, I bought a used Yakima buttondown but it has no housing for the lock core. Will this fit the old Yakima buttondown?

Yes, the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores # Y07204 you mentioned will fit your Yakima Buttondown. The SKS (same key system) is made to fit all Yakima products.

This kit includes 4 cores, 2 lock keys, and one change key. I have also went ahead and attached a review video for you to check out if you haven't already.
