Height Above Roof of Thule Roof Rack on 2023 GMC Sierra 2500

Question:

Thule Roof Rack. I just purchased a 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 At-4. I installed the Thule TracRac Truck bed ladder rack #TH44RE. I don’t want to use the cantilever if I can substitute roof rails/racks instead. I know the weight capacity would be less but I like the look much better. Is there any chance that there’s a system that would work and be at roughly the same height??? I wouldn’t be unhappy if the roof rails are lower and would be able to add material to raise the height to match the bed system height. Thanks for any help!!!

While I can give you the height of the Thule roof rack above the roof of your 2023 GMC Sierra 2500, I don't know how much height the cantilever of the ladder rack adds, so you'll need to measure how high above your roof it is and compare that with the Thule roof rack.

For the rack, from the roof of your '23 GMC Sierra 2500 to the top of the crossbar you'll be adding 5-1/2 inches when it is installed, so that should tell you if the height is approximately the same or not. The parts that make up the Thule roof rack that fits your truck are the following:
