Availability of USA-Made 2-5/16-Inch Hitch Ball Rated for 30,000-lbs
Question:
I do not buy anything from China, especially steel products. A friend works at Boeing in the testing lab. They check every bolt, nut, screw and fastner before it is used for aircraft construction. He was telling me that an order for grade 8 bolts came in from a Chinaese supplier. They tested grade 5 or lower, 8 milllion fasterners returned. I buy only US made. If you dont make these balls here I will have a machine shop make me several. Thank you,

We do offer a USA-made hitch ball with specs similar to the one you referenced.
B and W offers their 2-5/16-inch hitch ball # BWHB94004. This has a gross weight capacity of 30,000-lbs, a 1-1/4-inch diameter shank that is 2-1/2-inches long, a fine thread pitch (12 TPI) and includes the lock washer and nut. All heat-treated parts have a raw finish.
