Will a Trailer Hitch Receiver Disable The Hands Free Lift Gate On a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder?

I have a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder. The Platinum trim normally includes a towing package trailer hitch, but for reason they d it from the factory. The original window sticker says: TOW PACKAGE-*** Remove Tow Receiver Hitch Remove 7-Pin Harness ***Replaces Standard Equipment This SUV comes with a Motion Sensing Hands-Free Power Liftgate, which I believe uses the same wiring harness as the trailer hitch. Can I add a trailer hitch without losing the hands-free power liftgate?

Yes, you will be able to still use the hands free liftgate on your 2022 Nissan Pathfinder with a hitch installed. Do note that the receiver tube itself will block some areas under your rear hatch, so you will need to preform the foot movement near the sides of the hitch tube. I recommend installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C46DR.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK58VR will give you a 4-way flat connector. This will fit most small trailers and will also allow for Auxiliary Lights # C53201 if you have a hitch mounted accessory that impairs the view of your tail lights. The Mounting Bracket # 18144 will secure the 4-way to the receiver. If you need a 7-way connection the Kit # ETBC7 will provide you with the wiring to install a brake controller and charge line along with the 7-way connector. I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED52VR for a clean install. The main unit is installed behind the dash with only a small control knob mounted to the dash.
