How secure if the gear locker on the exo rack? Curious if it’s safe to leave locked on the rack overnight?

Expert Reply:
Yes, you can leave the Yakima GearLocker Enclosed Cargo Carrier # Y44VR locked on the rack overnight and not run into any issues. The lock uses a same key system so it would be very hard to find a way to get into your box when you're not around it, though if they anyone tries hard enough they will still be able to get into it, nothing is 100% safe even locked up. The box is made out of a durable ABS plastic and has a premium, scratch-resistant automotive finish. I like this box over other ones we sell because it has an easy on and off mounting.
