Parts Needed To Install Thule 725 or 726 Ski Carrier On a 2019 Mazda CX-5

Question:

Hi there, I am frankensteining a roof rack for my 2019 Mazda CX-5. So far, I have the Evo Wingbar, the Clamp Kit and the appropriate fit kit that I have sourced from various spots. I recently bought a ski rack off a guy on facebook without the mounts. I THINK this might be the right kit but Im not sure. The part number on the ski rack is 853-2805. Im nervous buying this mount because I cannot tell which rack it is from 725 or 726. Is there a way to tell the difference? I realize this is literally the hardest way to do this but saving for house and wedding so cant just drop $800 on something new when I can try to source what I need.

The easiest way to tell the Thule 725 and 726 ski/snowboard carriers apart is the 725 is a fixed carrier and the 726 allows you to slide the clamping portion out making it easier to load and unload your skis/snowboards. When you open the 726 there is a tab which rotates to the right and allows the clamping portion to slide out.

The 725 will require the Mounting Kit # 7533998 while the 726 uses the Mounting Kit # TH7520970001 to fit your Thule Wingbar Evo roof rack. This will consist of the Crossbars # TH711420, Feet # TH710501 and Fit Kit # TH145079 for your 2019 Mazda CX-5.

The Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450600 contain 6 lock cylinders to fit the 4 feet and 2 parts of the ski/snowboard carrier allowing you to secure your gear to your roof.

I have a complete Thule 726 ski/snowboard rack in great shape. Will it fit my 2018 Explorer without additional parts? Thanks for any help you can provide.
