Parts Needed When Changing a Trailer From a 6-Pin to 7-Way Trailer Connector

Im trying to wire a trailer from a 6 pin to a 7 pin connector. the problem is, the trailer wireharness doesnt have a blue wire for the brake controler. How do i accomplish this?

I recommend using the etrailer Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit w/ Junction Box # e99011 when upgrading from a 6 to a 7-way connector. This will make changing the wiring easier and provide you a place to attach a wire for the trailer brakes. This will also make installing a Bright Way Push-to-Test Trailer Breakaway Kit # 3802308 easier which you will also likely need if you do not already have a breakaway battery.

We have the Blue 10 Gauge Wire # 10-1-1 you can use to run for your trailer brakes.
