What are the internal dimensions of the Thule Tracks? Hhow big is the opening?

I pulled a Thule Roof Mounted Top Rack System # THTB60 from our warehouse to measure the inner dimensions of the track and found them to 1/2 an inch for the top opening and then .8 of an inch for the inner portion of the track.
