Parts Needed to Convert Dexter 8k Trailer Axles to Electric Over Hydraulic Disc
Question:
Looking to up grade a two axle trailer to electric over hydraulic. The trailer has 8,000 lbs Dexter axles, with 8 lug 17.5 aluminum wheels. do you have a kit of some kind for this? thank you!

We have 8,000 lb axle disc brake kits from Kodiak that you could use like the part # K2HR89DD which fit your Dexter 8k axles. Then for an actuator kit the HydraStar actuators are the best around.
For a kit that comes with this actuator, brake lines, and a breakaway kit you'd want the part # HBA16-252-82. This comes with everything you'd need to install the actuator and get it going on your trailer with the Kodiak kit I mentioned.
