Vehicle Wiring Harness For a 2022 Ford F-150 Without Factory Tow Wiring Harness
Question:
I have a 2022 Ford F150. It doesn’t have a wiring harness installed and looking to put one on. Wanted to verify which harness is best for the year make and model. I would also like to have a harness that has a 4 point and 7 point connection together. Thank you for the help greatly appreciated it!

I recommend adding the Tekonsha Universal 7-Way # 22551 on your 2022 Ford F-150 as there is not an aftermarket custom fit wiring harness. You will be able to switch out the included 7-way connector for the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket # HM40975 so you will be able to have both connectors without needing an Adapter # 78118.
If you are needing a brake controller the Prodigy P3 # 90195 is a very user friendly controller that is easy to read and customizable. It will plug into the universal 7-way kit linked above so you will not have to use an adapter or custom splice into the harness.
Our etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e63TR is a great option if you do not already have one. This uses a matte black powder coat finish leaving a clean factory appearance.
