Question:
Hello, Can I get 2 Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit with Keyed Alike Option - Black Item # 295-000019 with the latch and deadbolt keyed unique on one handle and keyed alike between the two? Is there enough variation between the key cuts to make them pretty secure as far as keyed locks go? Also are they cut on both sides like auto keys making them harder to pick? Thanks

Global Link uses 90 different key codes when making their locks, which doesn't sound like a lot when you think about how many of these are out there but is surprisingly much more than most other brands offer. Switching over to the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit # 295-000019 will provide much more security than the generic lock that you currently have.
If you select the keyed alike option on the product page and change your quantity to two then you'll get two keyed alike. The keys for these locks are cut are both sides (pictured below). You can also get replacement keys with a matching key code, like # 295-000071 which has a 345 keycode, if you ever lose your keys and don't want to replace the lock.
You will want to remove your current door lock's backing plate and measure the cutout hole to ensure that this lock is the correct fit. The # 295-000019 requires a 2-1/2" to 3" wide x 3-1/2" to 4" tall cutout hole. I've attached one of my installation videos below where I'll walk you through measuring and replacing your lock.
