Can Hydraulic Disc Brakes be Used with the Timbren Axleless Suspension Systems

Question:

Hi, Im restoring a 1960 Airstream 33 footer tandem axle and building a new chassis and I think these axle-less suspension parts looks great. I wanted to ask if it would be possible to add a hydraulic disc brake package rather just electric drums? If so do you have something package wise that would help me plan the cost at all. Thanks in advance

Yes, you can put hydraulic disc brakes on the Timbren Axleless Suspension, # ASR3500S05. This kit does have a brake mounting flange already integrated on it so you will just need a disc brake kit.

We have several kits that also include an actuating coupler. For a single 3,500 pound axle you can use # T4843300. It uses the same bearings that the axleless system requires and can mount to the 4-bolt mounting flange as well.
