Will B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch Fit Aftermarket Rails on a 2022 Ram Pickup

Will the companion hook up to my aftermarket rails that were installed on my 22 ram or is there another attachment needed?

The B&W Companion 5th wheel hitches are designed to only fit with OEM puck systems or the B&W underbed gooseneck hitch.
For aftermarket rails in your 2022 Ram pickup you're going to need the B&W Patriot which comes in the following weight ratings for different bed lengths:
6-1/2' Bed
- 18K Slider # BWRVK3270
8' Bed
- 16K Fixed # BWRVK3200
- 18K Fixed # BWRVK3255
Unfortunately the heads of the hitches attached differently as well, otherwise you could just swap out the heads with the bases and be all set. Since you really like the Companion 5th wheel hitch the Patriot will give you the same, great ride quality which is why I recommend going that route.
The only other alternative is to trade out your aftermarket rails for the OEM puck system or the Underbed Gooseneck Hitch # BWGNRK1320-5W for 2500/3500 Ram model trucks.
