Is The Gen-Y Shock Absorbing Pin Box Comapitible With a Curt Q25 Fifth Wheel Hitch

Is this Gen y pin box compatible with a Curt Q25 hitch? I have a 2023 chevy drw 3500 and 2022 Dutchamn Voltage 4015. The current pin box on the voltage is not compatible with the Q25.

There's not currently any manufacturer notes preventing usage of the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel Pin Box # GY46FR with a Curt Q25 hitch # C16265. That being said there are a few different factors that need to be addressed before swapping out your trailer's pin box.

There isn't a guide available for me to know what the bolt pattern of your current pin box is. We'll need to determine it before we can find the correct replacement. Typically there's a sticker somewhere on it with an RPO and Serial Number which we can use to determine the pattern. The # GY46FR has a 1621 bolt pattern, which is the most common.

From what I can see the 2022 Dutchmen Voltage 4015 has a pin weight of 3,254lbs. The # GY46FR has a 2,500lbs - 5,500lbs pin weight capacity so it'll be able rated high enough for your trailer.

Replacing your pin box will most likely void the manufacturer warranty so you'll want to review your manufacturer policy to ensure that they won't void it out and you'll lose out on free replacement parts and labor if the need ever arises.
