The roof rack I recommend for your 2019 Forest River Rockwood Freedom Camper 1940LTD is the Rhino-Rack Vortex aero-style system that installs on rails. You need the following parts paired with your choice of rails to accomplish this:

- 71" Vortex Crossbars # RRVA180B-3
- Quick Mount Legs # RRRLT600
- Quick Mount Legs # RRRLT600H (half kit for 3rd crossbar)

Rail Lengths
- 76-3/4" # RRRTS01
- 81" # RRRTV208
- 92-5/16" # RRRTS518

I like this kit because the crossbars can be adjusted along the rails as needed so you're able to accommodate a wide variety of cargo carrying applications. Unfortunately we don't have any installation videos of this kit on a camper, but I am linking an installation video of it on a Honda Odyssey so you can get an idea of what it looks like to add the rails.
