Hitch Adapter and Bike Rack Recommendation for E-Bike and Flat Towing
Question:
Good morning I am looking to purchase an ebike rack 1 lectric 3.0 to carry on the back of my 2019 Winnebago view class C RV. I will need a double reciever 2” hitch with a drop so I can tow my 2018 ford c-max as will as carry the my Bike. Currently I have a roadmaster 048-8 hitch to allow towing my car. What hitch double reciever would you recommend? What ebike rack would you recommend Thank you

To replace your Roadmaster High-Low Adapter # RM-048-8 I recommend using this replacement shank from Gen-Y:
- Replacement Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount # 325-GH-404
I like this option because it's more heavy-duty than pretty much every other adapter, plus it has a receiver above the shank so your bike rack will be at a higher location for better clearance.
Then for a bike rack I recommend using the Swagman E-Spec # S94FR and then using the Swagman Ramp and Bridge # S32YR to help make loading your heavy e-bike a bit easier. If your bike has a step-thru frame then you also need the Bike Frame Adapter Bar # S57FR so the hook has something to make contact with.
