In order to use the fold down license plate holder # 8802 pm a trailer hitch you would have to fabricate something for it to attach to. It is meant to be used on vehicles where the receiver goes through the bumper. Using a holder that actually fits in the receiver such as # 5443 or # C31002 would be the better way to go.

Both of these products indicate they are for front mount hitches but they will fit in any 2 inch receiver, front or back.
