Allen Key Wont Remove Allen Screw for Adapter Sleeve on Swagman XTC2 TILT Bike Rack
Question:
I bought the xtc2 bike rack and the hitch adapter won’t come off with the Allen wrench provided. My hitch is 1 1/4” and I have to get it off. Any ideas?

The adapter sleeve on the Swagman XTC2 TILT Bike Rack for 2 Bikes part # S64671 is held in place with a single allen screw. The allen tool for this screw is included in the kit, it's a 6mm. If the tool does not fit inside the screw then it's likely stripped. If that's the case, you can either drill out the screw or use a dremel tool and cut a flat-head into the screw so you can use a different tool.
