Inside Trailer Width Needed to Install Storage Trunk for Malone MicroSport and XtraLight Trailers
Question:
I see the answers for the width- 37 3/4 for the box. Id like to know what the total distance is between the mounting plates, not just the box but the required room needed to mount. Trying to see if it will fit the Northern Tool trailer that I have Malone bars on, thanks.

The mounting brackets that come with the Storage Trunk for Malone MicroSport and XtraLight Trailers # MPG481 will add about 1/2" to either side (keep in mind some of that mounting bracket is installed under the frame) so altogether you need about 38-3/4" in -between the trailer frame to install this kit.
