Is Fastway FA94-00-600 Too Overrated for 2023 Coleman Rubicon 1200 RK?
Question:
I have a 2023 Coleman Rubicon 1200 RK. I pull it with a Fastway e2 94-00-0600. Limited travel so far, but I have not had issues turning or backing up. There is some slight trailer bounce when I look in rearview mirror, but I dont feel anything in my 2018 F150 XLT truck body or steering. I am concerned that this much hitch may cause damage to my trailer or truck. Would you recommend that I replace the hitch with one of the products etrailer sells? Although over-hitched I like the peace of mind of the sway control. Trailer specs show 1636 lb dry weight, 1364 lb payload capacity, 186 lb hitch weight. Thank you for your time and expertise.

I'd recommend following the insturctions in the help article below to measure the actual loaded tongue weight of your 2023 Coleman Rubicon 1200 RK, and seeing where it lands.
The Fastway # FA94-00-0600 you have is rated for tongue weights between 400-600lbs so you're possibly overrated, but might be right at the minimum tongue weight depending on how you've loaded the trailer.
If you find you're under 400lbs tongue weight youi'll want to switch to the Fastway # FA92-00-0450 instead which works with tongue weights between 0 - 450lbs.
Too stiff of a weight distribution hitch can damage your hitch or trailer frame, so you really don't want to use one that's overrated.
