What PSI Hydrastar Actuator is Needed for Boat Trailer Disc Brakes
Question:
I currently have a double axle boat trailer with surge disk brakes. I would like to convert to electric over hydraulic so I have brakes when backing down the ramp. How do I determine what psi actuator to get? I see Hydra star makes multiple pressures for disc brakes on their website.

For disc brakes you would want 1,600 psi like what the Hydrastar Vented Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes # HS481-8067 provides. This is exact PSI that the current surge brakes of your trailer require.
