Why Do You Need the 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter W/ A MORryde Cushioned Pin Box?
Question:
Why can't you weld the adapter to the existing plate on the moryde cushioned fifth wheel pin box. Why do you have to buy another plate. What is the difference between the plate on there and the one you are selling. thanks

The reason you'd need the 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter Mounting Plate for MORryde Pin Boxes # MR37ZR is because in order to use a 5th wheel to gooseneck adapter like the Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter # AM3100 you'd need to drill into your pin box to attach it which you wouldn't be able to because you'd damage the cushioning and may void your warranty.
This plate would take the place of your current king pin and will allow you to use a 5th wheel to gooseneck adapter.
