Is There Difference Between Optronics Taillight Kits TL5RK and TL29BK
Question:
I have a 4 x 4 Harbor Freight utility trailer with a 7 tongue that I use for hauling my kayaks around. I just discovered my neutral wire has completely corroded, nothing left to splice to. As such, Im very wary about my other wires lasting much longer, if they work at all. Plus my existing lights are hard wired into the current harness. What eTrailer light harness do you recommend for my situation? I saw the TL5RK and TL29BK. Any real difference between the two? Thanks!

The Optronics kits part # TL5RK and # TL29BK are both very similar. Only real difference is there is a slight housing design difference between the two main taillight assemblies with the # TL29BK having the more recent design.
Both are great kits that will hold up really well, better than what came on your Harbor Freight trailer for sure.
