Help Installing MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent On a Jayco Eagle With 2nd AC Prep But No Hole In Roof
Question:
I have a Jayco Eagle that is “pre-wired” for a second A/C. Currently no opening has been cut in the roof. I would like to install a MaxxFan. Do you have any instructions or videos that would help an installation from scratch?

To install the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07000K on your Jayco Eagle I recommend taking it to a Jayco dealer to have the hole cut in the roof. If this is something you wish to complete yourself I have linked an installation video we did on an enclosed trailer where we had to cut the hole in the roof. Do still reach out to your Jayco dealer as they should be able to provide you with information on where to cut out the opening if it is not marked on your ceiling. You will most likely need to find a 12 volt power source as the prewire is likely only going to have 120 volt wiring and thermostat wiring for a roof top air conditioner. You will need an Installation Kit # 344270KITW to seal the roof vent on your roof.
