Recommended Wiring for 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz
Question:
I have a hitch on my 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz I was using for a bike rack. I plan on doing some towing now and I need to add a 7-way for brakes. What can I use to accomplish this? I don't have any kind of wiring right now, no tow package.

You can add a 7-way to your 2023 Santa Cruz using the Tekonsha # TK44ZR. This comes with everything you need to connect to your trailer. In addition to the 7-way you will also need a brake controller. For that I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR.
The main unit of this brake controller installs behind the dash with only the control knob visible. This gives you a nice clean look in the cab and means it won't take up additional space. The knob controls the braking power and also acts as the manual override. The 7-way comes with a Tekonsha wiring harness for a brake controller so you can use the adpater # 331-TPH-017 to connect to it for installation.
