Recommended Hitch for a 2023 Toyota Venza

To add a trailer hitch to your 2023 Toyota Venza, I recommend the etrailer Hitch item # e25AR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Toyota with included hardware. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 525 lbs maximum tongue weight.

I really like this hitch because the crosstube mounts behind your rear bumper cover. This leaves only the 2" receiver visible which not only looks better it helps with ground clearance.

I have linked an installation video and attached a couple of pictures below so you can see what this hitch looks like once installed.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C57ER and a ball mount kit item # C45534.

If you don't want to store your wiring harness inside your rear cargo area, I also recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
