7-Way and Brake Controller Recommendation for 2023 Toyota Highlander
Question:
I have a 2023 Toyota Highland not hybrid with a tow package. It only has a 4 pin trailer connector. I need a 7 pin to power camper battery and camper brakes. Which setup do you recommend? Thanks

For the simplest install the Tekonsha 7-wa part # TK57VR would be what you would need for a fully functional 7-way for your 2023 Toyota Highlander. Then for a brake controller the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED24FR would be a really great option that only puts a small knob on the dash of the vehicle and is proportional which means it senses how hard you are applying the brakes and puts a relative amount on the trailer brakes.
