Will Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent Fit Opening From Old Bracket With Different Dimensions

Question:

What is the depth on the ceiling mount bracket for this Dometic ceiling fan you are recommending? My old fan bracket is 13” 1/2 X 13” 1/2” but the depth on the ceiling mount bracket is only 4 1/2” what fan model would I need the FA3350 seems to have the 6” ceiling trim bracket

I'm assuming you measured the dimensions of the opening on the garnish to get that 13-1/2" measurement. The actual garnish opening on the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent # FV803350 is going to match your old bracket measurement. This roof vent fits a 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" opening which is the standard for all modern vents. The leg of the garnish that actually comes with it also measures 4-1/2" and fits roofs up to 4" thick. Regardless, like any garnish the leg/depth can be trimmed down to fit your needs.
