What is the Optimum Towing Level for a 5th Wheel Trailer

Have the following 2013 Dodge Ram Laramie Longhorn Mega Cab 3500 DRW 4 X 4 short box, also installed the Pullrite 18K autoslide on top of the Reese picture frame adapter for the factory installed Puck system. 5wheel is 2014 Redwood 36RL with a Trail Air Tri Glide Pin Box. When finally hooked up the Lippert Level Up system indicates the 5th wheel is not level but is at 1.2. high in the front. What is the optimum towing level? The Pin box is already set at the highest level. No further adjustment available to lower the plate of Pullrite hitch which is about 20 inches above the bed of truck. Any concerns with towing when 5th wheel at the above level?

Being 1.2 inches high on your fifth wheel trailer should be just fine. Typically being within a couple inches of level will work just fine. Obviously being perfectly level is absolutely ideal, but in your situation you are close enough and would not have any issues.

When a trailer is too high usually tracking or sway problems can occur, but it would have to be a higher than where your trailer is sitting.
